Seven Hills Classical Academy Mission Statement:
Seven Hills Classical Academy provides students with a classical education in an academically rigorous environment designed to promote strong citizenship and life-long learning.
The goal of Seven Hills Classical Academy’s Enrichment Program is to help each student meet his/her potential by challenging them with an “academically rigorous classical education curriculum.” In order to do that our staff is implementing curriculum differentiation into each classroom as a way to best fit each student’s individual academic needs. Lessons will be taught at the highest level with extra support given to those students needing enrichment.
In addition, SH Kids Club Classics, a before school enrichment program, will give students an opportunity to explore areas of personal interest in a challenging learning environment. These teacher led courses will be offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings for 9 weeks starting in October*. There will be several different courses offered that coincide with the seven liberal arts after which SHCA is named:
Grammar, Logic, Rhetoric: chess, literature circles, writing
Geometry (Art): art club
Arithmetic: math club
Music (History and Physical Education): music, soccer and flag football
Astronomy (natural sciences): science club
